How Invisalign First Works

A traditional Invisalign treatment case involves tooth alignment. But Phase I orthodontics have to consider jaw growth, palatal expansion, and anatomical changes in bone structure. 

Invisalign First addresses concerns related to oral-facial development, so that permanent teeth erupt properly, and additional alignment problems can be avoided.  That way as adult teeth come in, they’re positioned in an ideal manner that limits the need for extensive treatment during your child’s teen years. At that point, traditional Invisalign can be used to fine tune their smile as needed. 

Invisalign First aligners work similar to the clear trays used in traditional Invisalign. They are worn all day (and night) but taken out during meal times or for brushing and flossing. At specific intervals, your child progresses to the next set of Invisalign First trays to continue their tooth movement.
